These cables are used in external
environment for protection againest moisture. Made
with plain copper condustors 0.5 mm in diameter.
Polyethylene insulated, twisted into pairs and laid
in unit construction. They are then filled with
petroleum jelly and polyethylene sheathed in black.
CW1198
These cables are used in external
environment where a greater degree of mechanical
protection is required. Construction is as per CW
1128 with the addition of a galvanised steel wire
armour and polyethylene oversheath.
CW1236
These cables are made from plain
copper conductors, cellular polyethylene insulated,
twisted into pairs and laid up in unit formation.
An aluminium moisture barrier is bonded to a black
solid outer polyethylene outer sheath and then petroleum
jelly filled. (Over 200 pairs only).
